National Language Resource Centers

Summer Institutes

Since 1990, the U.S. Department of Education has awarded
Title VI grants to institutions of higher education in order to
establish language resource centers (LRCs). The common goal of
the LRCs is to promote the learning and teaching of foreign
languages in the United States.
Summer institutes are offered
by the fifteen Title VI Language Resource Centers funded by
the U.S. Department of Education.
